    The guys at Protyre Bradford really look after you. When you take your car for a service or other repair work that will take more time than you would want to wait in the waiting room for, they make sure you can get home and back again without any hastle. Good prices for tyres with a good value 4 wheel alignment service. Good for BMW owners because they can update the BMW database when you've had a service and/or MOT test.

    Absolute joke of an MOT testing station. Testers are clueless and just out to get you based on how they’re feeling that day (read review for full details) Booked for an MOT online in advance taking advantage of the promo off MOT booking. Took the car in for an MOT on Monday and car failed MOT due to tyres and fault/incorrect lights, with advisories for brakes/brake pads (fair enough). Went off to get all work done before returning on the next day for a retest thinking should be a quick one and took a seat in the waiting room. After a short while a chap by the name of Mick walks back in the waiting room with an attitude, asking what repairs had been done, making snide remarks before walking off and saying “oh yeah and I’m failing you for your brakes too” as he’s walking off and just disappears out of sight leaving me baffled (as the previous day the brakes had only been mentioned as an advisory). Mick returns with printed paperwork. Requested for Mick to show me the issues (to which he was having trouble finding the faults himself resulting in the car having to go back onto the ramp). Again, after difficulties, Mick manages to find the defect in the tyre resulting in the fail (fair enough, no arguments to that), but here come the lies. When asking about the brakes, Mick claims he is unable to get this 2mm plastic tool into the gap indicating this is below the legal limit. Requested to use the tool myself to check and had easily been able to use this mechanics own equipment to see that the pads had more than 2mm thickness at least. Attempted to explain to Mick that I had just had the car tested yesterday and have paperwork stating the pads were at least 2mm, and we both know the tool does fit in, and given that the car had been moved approx 500m at best to get to the next garage and back, it is extremely unlikely that these pads have magically become worn enough and then Mick tries to play the “I’m a qualified mechanic” card. After having taken this vehicle to another garage to have repairs performed and re-tested, this garage had confirmed to me that the disks were at least 2mm prior to the new set being put on. Hugely inconsistent testing performed at this centre (as is easily evidenced in the paperwork provided by themselves) and with mechanics evidently lying to you but expecting you not to question anything. Unfortunately as a customer, we have very little we can do about it as the only way to appeal is to appeal directly to DVSA and not undergo any repairs, leaving you off the road for the duration of appeals. Anyone thinking about booking in for an MOT here, id think twice before going ahead. I have no issues in accepting valid reasons for failing the MOT (which in this case there was), but the rest of the lies that come with it has resulted in me being forced to leave this review to warn others of my experience. Customer service here could most definitely be improved instead of staff talking to you like you are dirt and attempting to belittle you whilst pulling out their “qualified mechanic” card whilst spouting nonsense at you. No issues with the owner (Billy). But I strongly would suggest reviewing the standards of your MOT testing station, as inconsistent testing such as that being done at your branch raise questions regarding the quality of the work being performed here, and wether you actually do care about the safety of your customers as your staff claim to do, attempting to justify inaccurate statements. Unfortunately, the level of service I received at this branch has resulted in me wanting to avoid any interactions with this garage, and has led me to escalate this matter further to ProTyre customer service and to the motor ombudsman due to the major concerns I have regarding the quality of the services and repairs provided at this branch. Would strongly suggest customers to seek alternative garages, both to save your money and for your own safety on the road...
